What is the PTT switch used for ??
Good question! PTT is short for “Push-To-Talk”. When someone is calling you in the “private mode” also known as “direct connect” or two way radio mode, you can respond to them by simply depressing this PTT button. There is no need to push the button on the side of your phone! The phone can remain securely on your belt. Incoming “Phone Calls” can be immediately answered by pushing this same button ! Nothing could be more convenient. For convenience, this PTT switch may be placed anywhere on your clothing with the supplied clothing clip.
